You are going to freak out with this one. In the middle of the 19th century, many Germans emigrated to some areas of Brazil. The Catarina Sour is the Brazilian interpretation of the Berliner Weisse made in the state of Santa Catarina using local fruits. An acidic beer with a wheat base, with silky and spicy notes that we have added obscene amounts of pineapple and passion fruit. Fruit, acidity, freshness... and more fruit. With little more than 4% Vol. Alc. so no reason not to repeat..
